Many of our accessories and options were initially devised as job-specific solutions. After development and refinement we then make these available to the wider market.
Stair Profiles
Samstone's pavers are complemented by a range of matching stair profiles. Treads and matching risers are available to creating a seamless flow to enhance your entry and access ways.
Our standard stair treads are 30mm deep and come in two types of edges: bullnose or pencilnose. The rounded bullnose profile adds classic style where the straighter edge of the pencil-cut works well in modern settings.
For a contemporary look, Samstone can supply stainless steel strips or sandblast strip infill treads. With ample time, Samstone can also work with specifiers and builders to meet specific needs. To meet OH&S contrast luminescence requirements, two-toned treads can be created in a range of colour choices.
Drains and Grates

Our extensive colour range provides ample scope to create contrast luminescence to meet stringent OHS requirements for slip-rating, safety and accessibility while maintaining a sophisticated, aesthetic finish on any project.
Portable Paving
Pavers laid on height adjustable plastic chairs can be the solution where a semi-permanent product is required. We have used these for fashion runways, trade shows, where a surface needs to be removed after use. Also ideal for temporary facelift for rental properties, these nifty accessories mean your pavers can simply be picked up and removed when no longer required.
Because pavers are neither glued nor grouted, adjustable chairs are widely used in commercial situations such as commercial rooftops and balconies. This method allows rapid drainage and simplified access to sub-surface services and cabling. In high traffic areas, replacing single damaged tiles is a low-cost maintenance solution and maintenance is more efficient across the area.

Trims & Cladding
Much of Samstone's wide product range is perfectly suited to dress vertical wall surfaces and add feature highlights to any space.
Cobblestone and small-cut trims in contrast colours and finishes can add a striking aesthetic to any space. For a more subtle effect, simply use the same material in a different finish. For more dramatic statements, create contrast with colour and materials.
Stackstone is available in cool and warm tonal variations. It is favoured in feature walls, decorative highlights and for landscape solutions. Water features and fireplaces are especially popular applications of Stackstone.
Gluefixed, Stackstone is an easy and efficient material to work with. Adding colour and texture to highlight tboth internal and external spaces, its uses are only limited by your imagination.

Soak-ThruTM Porous Paving
Soak-ThruTM Porous Paving is a unique bond of coloured aggregates and resin. This innovative and economical paving system is designed to filter water through to underlying media but also to provide a maintenance free surface. Mainly used around tree bases in commercial and streetscape, Soak ThruTM Porous Paving's is available in a wide variety of colours and aggregate sizes, and mixes can be tailored to clients requirements - it provides a viable and aesthetically-pleasing alternative to bark chips, or other loose decorative material.
